WHAT IS CHRISTIANS ENCOUNTER CHRIST?
Christians Encounter Christ (CEC) is a Catholic movement within the Archdiocese of Omaha. The Christians Encounter Christ Movement believes
that Christianity can penetrate all areas of the secular world, living, growing and transferring Christ's values to society. The CEC Method is
introduced in a highly structured three-day "weekend'' experience, beginning on Friday evening and ending on Sunday night. It is a combined
effort of laity and clergy toward evangelization of the world in which we live, by strengthened spirituality, lived and shared in everyday environments.
HOW CAN I ATTEND A CEC WEEKEND?
You must be sponsored by someone who has made the weekend previously. There are 4th dayers in almost all parishes.
If you do not know who they are, please contact your parish priest for assistance. You may also contact any of our officers
listed on this site as well and they would be happy to put you in contact with someone in your parish.

CEC Annual Workshop
The Annual Workshop will be held on Sunday February 5th @ Mary Our Queen Parish
Please plan to attend if you would like to learn more about working a weekend.
The workshop runs from 1:30-4:30
